Brooke {Child Portraits 2015} | Colorado Springs Photographer

When Brooke's mom Christy contacted me earlier in the summer to photograph Brooke's 2 year session I was thrilled. I have been photographing beautiful Ms. Brooke since she was just 6 months old, so I have had the honor of taking her pictures for awhile now. I got to experience her first birthday by photographing her smash cake, and have seen her throughout the last year  and a half for several mini sessions. I always love seeing her sweet smile and getting her tiny hugs. This session with her to celebrate her 2nd birthday was my absolute favorite of all of our sessions. I knew sunset and wildflowers would be perfect for her special 2nd birthday...she is a special girl, she deserved a very special session. The Burks {Family Portraits 2015} | Colorado Springs Family Photography

It was so wonderful to work with this family of 4. Photographing little boys, especially brothers, is fun for me because I have boys and I know that I will get the chance to be silly and talk about boy things with them like bugs and sports. These boys made my job super easy because they were so polite and listened so nicely...very sweet boys! I can't say enough how much I enjoy photographing families like The Burks and capturing special moments in their lives and in all of yours. It is very special to me and it is a job that I take seriously and always want to do the best job that I can for all of you! The Cruzs {Family Portraits 2015}

It was such a pleasure to meet and have the opportunity to photograph this adorable family of 5. The three little gentlemen were the sweetest boys. The combination of the gorgeous scenery and this beautiful family made for a wonderful session. I can't say enough how much I enjoy my job and getting the chance to work with wonderful families like the Cruz Family!

Up Minis {Child Portraits 2015}

Since childhood I have been a huge Disney fan. There is just something magical about Disney and even as an adult the films connect you to your childhood. One of Disney's newer films Up is just so adorable and the tagline: "Adventure is out there!" is a great message for kiddos and adults alike. The world is such a big place and there are so many opportunities for you to do great and wonderful things. Therefore, I decided Up themed minis would be super cute...and they were!

The Kaapanas/Hansens {Family Portraits 2015}

I was honored when Kari asked me to take portraits of her family while on a visit to Colorado from Arizona. You see they moved away from Colorado to Arizona awhile ago, but come back to visit often because they still love this beautiful place...what isn't to love right? Well, I love them because they are just a great group of people. Beautiful on the outside and on the inside too. The Duggans {Family Portraits 2015}

There is no greater love than the love a family has for one another. There is so much love in this family and I really enjoyed being the one to get to photograph them. Photographing families brings me so much happiness and I know nothing is ever perfect but each family I come across allows me to be part of their life for a short time and while I am with them and they show me their kind of happy.
